Hi there,

I have a question re bodybuilding.  I'd like to start doing it myself but have always been big.  I think I have the genetics for this form of sport. I'm not sure.  My question though stems from my current weight.  I have lost 16kg in the last six months.  My body type now would be classed as overweight but not extremely so.  I weighed last time at my gym reassessment at 97 kilos.  And I'm I think 164cm tall or 5 feet four around abouts. Right now I'm sore having had a bad start to the body building experience. lol.  But I've already purchased some of the supliments(natural ones like creatine etc) to begin when I do.

Anyway, my question is is it possible to gain significant muscle and lose body fat at the same time?  How would that be acomplished?  Or should I hold off and diet more to get down to a smaller weight?

Another question is prior to starting, should I be taking Creatine for a week or so in advance before I begin working out for muscle gains?

IMPO, I wouldn't even bother with the creatine for the moment.

1st things are first.  Diet, Weight training and Cardio.  Don't worry bout supplements for the moment.  Get these 3 things rolling and then start to introduce as plateaus emerge or goals differ.

OK, how bout you start by posting up your current diet, weight training and cardio routine.

Good physiques are built on commitment.. great physiques are built on discipline.. and the freaky ones are built on Dianabol

Well my diet consists of meat, chicken, pork, some red meat.  I tend to stay away from fatty foods. Lots of vegies, etc.  Occasional deserts. Sometimes cerial for breakfast, sometimes toast.  And Trim shakes.  I also bought some diet pills that I'm only just starting to help me reach my goal faster.

For gym training I do three cardio exercises, bike, treadmill and X-Trainer.  And some weights.  Tricep push down, Lat Pulldown, Bicep curls, Seated shoulder press, Sponge ball squats, abductor and the occasional other exercise.  Depending on how I'm feeling.

what are you trying to achieve physically?
do you wanna be very musclar, a expression i like to use is "HUGE"?
or do you want to be lean/ cut but still have that size factor?
