No probs mate, Although I have to say I eat sleep and play BB that is all I do, I wont play ping pong if it takes my time or energy away from BB, I also have a competative goal to win the MR Aust for my class as my long term goal. SS

Taz, very impressed with your progress, well done. on another note, its so hard to capture progress in photos, just like when you see pros in real life, they look so much bigger then in photos….

Nice work TAZ.
I gotta mention this as i'm pretty proud of it.
Between the age of 38 & 40 I went from 83kgs to 103kgs naturally, and that was mostly muscle as my body fat percentage only went up by about 3%.
Standing at 195cms I was probably underweight to start with, but even so it was pretty cool,as a few people remarked I was past it!
Since my 40 birthday 5 months ago my weight has'nt gone up,i'm probably hovering around my natural body weight.
I was at one point envisaging 115kgs,but maintaining my present weight is hard enough!
But what I have now is the clay to sculpture!
I still have minimal bodyfat (someone suggested Hydroxycuts, but I reckon my body has built in Hydroxcuts haha).
Its good to be getting old!

TJ fantastic effort! 103kgs would be a very good weight for your height, I too am tall at 6'4 and currently weigh 125, but that's all clay the muscle is hiding somewhere Stick at it, you are far from done

I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.

Kick up the butt would never go astray. I LOVE coming home and gloating to my boys about any deadlift PBs. And i have a five year old girl who does pushups on her toes and then flexes. Much rather her doing that then going on about being skinny. Feels good to be a good role model.
How are you going though Pumba? Busy with a new job right?

Yeah been busy, BUT have totally redesigned the gym I have at home this weekend, getting some stuff welded up, like a squat rack etc and got a rustic old bench that will be cut and get the uprights out wider, then I'm spending 4-5 months lifting heavy as I can go......should be good fun...........stepping away from the commercial mainstream this year and going "Blob style"

You know I myself as a 45 year old still just love pumping iron, I started out differently I did competetive weightlifting in my teens and early twenties in the under 60kg and 67.5kg weight divisions. It was to be a life long devotion to throwing weights around when bored after finishing competing. Things do definitely change as you age and as a Registered Nurse I think i can honestly comment on a lot of issues with ageing and bulking, i think when younger we definitely think were invincible and will do almost anything to add bulk, but with ageing on the outside comes ageing on the inside. The mature body builder should really not be aiming to bulk at any cost, we have to think more carefully about what we put in our mouths and the health of our cardiovascular system. I am always looking to add muscular bulk but not at the risk of increasing fat and cholesterol levels, I still take shit loads of supplements and still looking for the ones that work lol, but enjoying it and will hopefully for decades to come. Lift with your brain and your strength, old guys rule.!
