I had often read that many of the pros will cut out their protein shakes during contest prep and have tryed it for the first time this year.
It worked for me. Last time I competed at this bodyfat level now I am the same with 3 weeks to go. My energy levels are better and more stable and I am less hungry and have less cravings. If you are competing I highly reccomend it! Smiley

hey...
when were you having your shakes during the day.. like wat meals were shakes before you cut them out?
I havent thought of cutting mine out.. but i only have 2 a day.. 1 post workout.. and 1 before bed..

In the off season I was replacing 2 of my meals with shakes as well as having one pre/post workout. I cut them completley at about 8 weeks and now have just been eating 8 solid food meals per day every 2 hours
