Hi guys.

I would like to get your take on tuna as I am wanting to give it a go. Pretty fussy when it comes to seafood as I am used to catching my own and seldom trust the quality at the shops/markets let alone out of a can - but am willing to overlook this in search for muscle.

What are some of the brands you go for and some to avoid would be helpful.
Any help on making it palatable would also help, though don't think much can be done other than chew and swallow.

I really love the woolies sweet chili tuna tins, 89c each for snacks are awesome

For just plain style try

cook some brown rice, add onion, peas and tons of tuna and give a quick wok fry

3 eggs, onion, tuna omlette

chopped iceberg lettuce, balsamic vinegar, cucmber, tuna

thats just 3 of the ways i use it

I cannot stand tuna after forcing myself to eat it after a few diets. I just eat chicken, steak and turkey mince now. Turkey mince is cheap like sometimes 7 dollars a kilo but usually 9 or 10. When you grill it you get a lot of fat out.

Xav & i are of the same school of thought.

The greens' or woolworths select brand smaller tins. That should be what people call as 'fast food', not 'a burger & chips'. Open the tin, drain the water, eat away. Drink some water to make it somewhat enjoyable & enjoy

what a tin of tuna costs $1.59 at best...that's value!

haha still a pretty good idea!   Afro

input Fenegreek or tribulas raw product and a fat burner into your daily diet and tuna will taste like ice cream!
Anything that taste like crap has a positive output!

pffft
Just go to Woolies and get the home brand tuna.
1 185g can is 89 cents. BARGAIN.
32 Grams of protein

Cheapest source of Protein ever. 89 cents, there is 1 meals protein sorted.
Now if your really stingy you can sneak into Maccas and steal a few of their Peanut Butter packets To go with it.
Im sure about 5 would be equal to 2 table spoons lol!
Protein = 89 cents, fat = stolen (but complimentry)

feed your self 7 meals a day for under 7 dollars!
