You grow when you rest mate - kill it in the gym when you're there and then let your body recover with good food and plenty of rest.

most important lesson I learnt from a guy at uni gym.
you don't grow in the gym. you grow at home.

My personal point of view is that rest days are rest days. You grow on rest days. You only initiate the growth process when you train.

Mind you - you need to train your balls off when you do train.

Some of the best natural bodybuilders in the world even have 1 week a month off i heard.

By the same token if u take to much time off between workouts ya feel sore forever when u do train.. so make sure u do each bodypart once a week or you will end up like me n be sore for 1.5 weeks cause u not training consitently enough

When you've been training for a decent amount of time you learn more about your body and you start realise how important rest is.

I think when your in the gym train hard and when your not in there just rest and grow  Wink
